Enabling Tipping
To enable tipping, please contact Live Payments Help Desk.
How Tipping Works
When enabled, the terminal will:
Prompt Do you want to add a tip? after the transaction amount has been entered. The selections available are: No / Yes / Cancel.
If Yes is selected, the cardholder will be prompted with the following selections: Other, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%.
Please note:
Tip will be applied to the total amount.
The tip percentages are currently static. Cardholders can be encouraged to use the Other button should they wish to enter a custom tip amount or tip over 20%.
